Once again, Wireshark proves the case. This Technical Information Document was the direct result of a LDAP trace
generated by everyone's favorite troubleshooting tool.

SituationInstalling GroupWise Webaccess Agent or GroupWise Internet Agent (GWIA) on Linux can display an LDAP container
containing garbage characters. If the desired context is represented by the garbage characters and trying to move
forward with the install, an error "An Attempt to Add an Object to the Directory Failed (ad25)".
ResolutionThe problem is caused by an "Other Name" associated with the container name. To work around the issue,
temporarily remove the value in the "Other Name" field.

Steps:

1. Open ConsoleOne and locate the container that shows badly during the install. Open the properties of that
container.
2. Under the General | Identification tab, search for the "Other name" field and remove the contents of that field.
3. If dealing with a multi server tree environment, allow the change to propagate to the other servers.
4. Retry the installation
