I'm not sure, but I have experienced it too and it's very annoying :-) If no one tackles it soon, I probably will.
If none is working on it, could you recommend a way to debug this issue? Is there a Visual Studio project for wireshark available to use Visual Studio debug infrastructure?
Maybe a remote debugging session of some sort from a second Windows computer across the network? I've never tried it, but it may be worth looking into.
