Thx for replying.

However there are 3 different versions of this cable modem:

The SB4200
The SB4200E
The SB4200E diagnostic

I cut and pasted this from the motorola website:

SURFboard SB4200 Cable Modem – Motorola’s SURFboard SB4200 can be upgraded
to support DOCSIS 1.1 via firmware download and utilizes the latest
silicon technology, in which all functions are integrated into a single
chip for improved performance. The SB4200 modem’s advanced feature set
includes 10/100 Ethernet network connectivity and Universal Serial Bus
(USB) interfaces for easy plug-and-play installation. It also contains a
Standby Switch for enhanced security, and a high-speed processor to handle
both current and future advanced DOCSIS functions.

SURFboard SB4200E Cable Modem – The SB4200E offers the same features as
the SB4200 cable modem, but for European broadband network operators. This
EuroDOCSIS certified modem can be upgraded to support EuroDOCSIS 1.1 via
firmware download.

SURFboard SB4200E Diagnostic Cable Modem – This diagnostic cable modem
offers the same functionality as the SB4200E, as well as real-time network
monitoring and trouble-shooting. Its console port enables direct access to
the easy-to-use Command Line Interface (CLI), and its bold safety-cone
orange color clearly identifies the SB4200E diagnostic cable modem as a
diagnostic tool.

My cable modem is a SB4200E Cable Modem which does not work with
www.vandale.nl ? :(
