You can buy the source code for Solaris 8 on-line at:

http://www.sun.com/solaris/source/ <http://www.sun.com/solaris/source/>

Included are the binaries for whichever platform you buy the source for.
BTW, it appears that the source for x86 and SPARC are included in any given
source distribution.
