I am running a RedHat7.1. I would appreciate some feedback from other
distros whith mingetty running.

segfaults on rh7.2, but no core files:

jon@dev:/ cd ~
jon@dev:~ /sbin/mingetty `perl -e 'print "A"x9000'`
Segmentation fault
jon@dev:~ cd /
jon@dev:/ /sbin/mingetty `perl -e 'print "A"x9000'`
Segmentation fault
jon@dev:/ cd /sbin
jon@dev:/sbin ./mingetty `perl -e 'print "A"x9000'`
Segmentation fault
jon@dev:/sbin cat /etc/issue
