If you want the quick-fix, do the history symlink, tell users that changing it is not allowed, and fire people who evade your monitoring.
right, this should be addressed in the site systemwide policy, and fire their asses if they fsck with it. (good luck keeping anyone around to fire who thinks for their/your living after informing them that every keystroke will be monitored...) Why do you have users on your systems you don't trust anyway? Sounds fishy to me. spiff
