This is not a cookie issue, but a feature built into IE 5. You can go to your options settings and disable it from remembering passwords but still remember other info, such as your login. I have not found out how to erase passwords that were remembered prior to turning off this function. If you figure it out, post a message.
Tools -> Internet Options -> Content AutoComplete -> Clear Forms AutoComplete -> Clear Passwords Try those, they should help.
