Why do you say that? IMHO, tcpdump/WinDump at:

is the "official". Works fine for me on Windows. Have you tried it?
It's good we've got rid of the mess with "bittypes.h" etc.


I was thinking the WinDump 3.9.5 source code here:
http://www.winpcap.org/windump/install/default.htm was the latest and
official source, which in fact only adapted to WinPcap. I will drop this
WinDump code and use TCPdump then.
