There's "supports InfiniBand" and there's "supports LINKTYPE_INFINIBAND".  If there were, for example, an "InfiniBand 
over Ethernet" or "InfiniBand over UDP" protocol, transporting raw InfiniBand packets over Ethernet or UDP, Wireshark 
might have an InfiniBand dissector without having an InfiniBand dissector for raw InfiniBand captures.  It might not be 
hard to modify the existing code to support raw InfiniBand captures, but *nobody's done so yet*.

*If you want Wireshark to support LINKTYPE_INFINIBAND, you will have to write code to make it do so, or get somebody 
else to write the code to make it do so; no argument will magically make it capable of doing so, so further argument 
about that topic is pointless.*
