I have been able to get near 10 Gbps in the past, but I have never tried the
intel adapter. You may wish to run "top" to see what is using resources.

Subject: [tcpdump-workers] can tcpdump capture 10Gbps traffic?

Hi
can tcpdump capture 10Gbps traffic?
About 2M pps,400-500Bytes per packet, XEON 5400,8 core
My experience is that tcpdump is able to capture only 2-3 Gbps ?

Thanks
jon
