Ok, I've worked out what it was.... FreeBSD doesn't like having the read timeout set to 0. So I set it to 10 milliseconds. Can anyone tell me an optimum value for this, performance-wise? Hi there! I'm trying to port some code that works in Linux over to FreeBSD 4.8 The code works fine in Linux. The code compiles in FreeBSD without error. However my call to pcap_loop doesn't seem to be returning any packets. The specified callback function is never called. I'm sure the interface I'm listening on has packets being sent and
received,
and I tested my packet filter and this interface with tcpdump. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks Regards Justin - This is the TCPDUMP workers list. It is archived at http://www.tcpdump.org/lists/workers/index.html To unsubscribe use
