Hello Michael,

Thanks for your response. So You mean there is a bug in 11.23(itanium 
architecure of HP-UX). 
So i'm not able to build the same tcpdump. Am i right?
B'coz i got error as
Then while building tcpdump for ipv6, I got the following error.

ld: Unsatisfied symbol "get_dlpi_ppa" in file
../libpcap-0.7.1/libpcap.a[pcap-dlpi.o]
ld: Unsatisfied symbol "pcap_error" in file
../libpcap-0.7.1/libpcap.a[grammar.o]
2 errors.
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
gmake: *** [tcpdump] Error 1

Note: Now i didn't get any error as i said previously in ./configure --
enable-ipv6.

While make i got, error as above. Plz tell me to avoid that.
