When snort 2 rules EoS ?

The action for the same Rule is different. snort2 is disabled and snort3 is
enabled.
Does it mean that the rule update service for snort2 will be terminated?
If, when do you think it'll be over?

I want to automatically convert from snort3 to snort2. Can you tell me how?
