Snort 3 on Raspberry pi 4 hang in the starting time

Hi All:
I followed the instructions written on the document "Snort 3.1.0.0 on
Ubuntu 18 & 20" and successfully built snort on Raspberry Pi 4 with debian
10.
( only some downlink change requiring use github directly
https://github.com/snort3/snort3 )
However, then running -V option it just hang on the very early executing
time without any messages showing, and using

--enable-debug-msgs
--enable-debug
--build-type=Debug
configurations with export SNORT_DEBUG=16384

still find nothing, even running under gdb set with breakpoints,
under this hang condition only sending SIGTERM (killall) can
break it.
I find someone also encountering this similar situation posted on github

Please help on this issue. will the  -V option encountering a lock state?
