Talos Snort Subscriber Rules Update

Synopsis:
This release adds and modifies rules in several categories.

Details:
This release provides coverage via SID 57720 for CVE-2021-21985, a
remote code execution vulnerability in the vSphere Client's Virtual SAN
Health Check plug-in, which is enabled by default in vCenter Server. An
attacker with network access to this service can exploit this
vulnerability to gain remote code execution on the affected vCenter
Server.

Talos has added a rule in the server-webapp rule sets to provide
coverage for emerging threats from these technologies.
