New rule protocols in Snort 3?

Greetings

I'm doing a study about recent development in NIPS/NIDS and came across Snort. I've seen how recently Snort 3 was 
released with a lot of new features and a few new protocols? I found a pdf-file made by mr. Mansour explaining the new 
http and file keyword. I was wondering if there are more new keywords that are worth looking into?
