Yes, the snort3 package base was my starting point. I build from source for a mips64 octeon3 SoC board. However, I didn't know if the snort source generated a LUA page I could use in luCI. I suspect not, but given the fact the current snort3 package doesn't support the toolset (and some other things) I didn't know if it was just a case of it being generated and not copied to the image. Thanks again! On Tue, Apr 14, 2020 at 12:01 PM <snort-devel-request () lists snort org> wrote:

Aside from the issues I had with some of the dependencies, it seems to work fine. My only experience was with Snort 2.x, so this is a whole new world of confusion :DThere is a snort3 package for OpenWrt master and 19.07. Did you find that? See https://github.com/openwrt/packages/tree/master/net/snort3. Your other questions seem Sort- rather than OpenWrt-specific, but I wanted to make sure you knew that the package is available. -- Mike :wq ------------------------------ Subject: Digest Footer _______________________________________________ Snort-devel mailing list Snort-devel () lists snort org https://lists.snort.org/mailman/listinfo/snort-devel ------------------------------ End of Snort-devel Digest, Vol 34, Issue 6 ******************************************
