Need help! Snort 3 extras

Hello,
I'm new to Snort and I was looking into Snort 3 extras but I can't figure out how to use some of the plugins. I found 
an example for logger:

$my_path/bin/snort -c $my_path/etc/snort/snort.lua -R $my_path/etc/snort/sample.rules \
        -r pcap --plugin-path $my_path/lib/snort_extra -A alert_ex

but what should I do to run other plugins, an inspector for example? Are there any guides?
