Snort dynamic rules on OSX Mojave

Hello,

I am wondering if it is possible to get the dynamic snort rules (the SO files) running in a Mac OSX environment, 
specifically Mojave. Given that there are no pre-compiled binaries for Darwin/OSX I am assuming no, yet, I wanted to 
ask anyways.
