no one can tell much of anything at this point... there's simply not enough 
information plus you are (were?) running an old EoL version of snort...

1. have you updated your snort to the latest supported version?
2. are you still seeing this problem?
3. have you increased the logging level in barnyard2, if it can be, so you can 
see more information concerning the database inserts?
