sid-msg.map can not be located

 I am trying to install barnyard2 and to test if barnyard2 can process the
"icmp ping" alert properly. I need to add in a specific alert into the
sid-msg.map but I can not find it. I thought it was located in /etc/snort
but only gen-msg.map & unicode.map is there. Where can I find the
sid-msg.map from the source file?
