Dropping packets in Chrome but not in Firefox

Hi All,

Greetings.!!

I have tried to block youtube and made a rule. It is working fine in
chrome. But when I tried in mozilla firefox. It is not dropping the
packets. I am able to browse and watch videos in youtube.

*Rule used:*
drop tcp any any -> any any (msg:"No youtube"; appid:youtube; resp:
rst_all; sid:1000006; rev:004;)
*snort.conf:*
config daq: afpacket
config daq_dir: /usr/local/lib/daq
config daq_mode: inline
config daq_var: buffer_size_mb=512
config policy_mode:inline
