exactly... one of the (last) steps (shown in the grey box in the original post) 
is "cd ../userland" followed by "make"... if that make doesn't compile the 
necessary pfring-daq-module, the OP will need to look into why it is failing to 
compile or why it is failing to install... possibly a root permission error?
