Is this function not handled by the '[mail function]' in PHP?

Kindest regards,
Michael...

Subject: [Snort-users] BASE email smtp port specification

Hi

I am using Snort with BASE 1.4.5 on a Linux RaspberryPI2 3.18.11-v7+

I have modified base_conf.php to include my email smtp server configuration.

However my smtp server requires authentication on port 587 but I cannot find
an entry in base_conf.ph.

Any suggestions?

Outgoing SMTP port number: 587
