Barnyard configuration problem

Can any one help me in this problem,


I have configured snort alone and test it the alerts is being printed on the screen correctly.

but after configuring barnyard , the alerts aren't read from the snort.u2 file (not printed on the screen or written to 
the database) , so i will be grateful if any one have a solution to this problem.
