CPU affinity in Snort under FreeBSD

Hi all,

 Somebody knows if it is possible to configure cpu affinity under
snort?? I have installed snort 2.9.6.2 under a FreeBSD 10-STABLE host
with 16 cpus, but I need to restrict snort to use only 8 of these
cpus.
