Do you have normalization enabled?  If so, what do those stats show?

Nope, I did a kill -USR1 pid and got these results back.

Action Stats:
Alerts:            0 (  0.000%)
Logged:            0 (  0.000%)
Passed:            0 (  0.000%)
Verdicts:
Allow:      8582762 ( 48.978%)
Block:         6846 (  0.039%)
Replace:           79 (  0.000%)
Whitelist:      8933993 ( 50.982%)
Blacklist:            0 (  0.000%)
Ignore:            0 (  0.000%)



Using pulled pork with VRT signatures.

Here is the config:

##Pulled pork
dropsid=/etc/snort/dropsid.conf
ips_policy=Balanced

##/etc/snort/dropsid.conf
pcre:security-ips\s*drop
