Output database option - Back in?

I see the snort.conf (2.9.3.1) now includes:

# database
# output database: alert, <db_type>, user=<username> password=<password>
test dbname=<name> host=<hostname>
# output database: log, <db_type>, user=<username> password=<password> test
dbname=<name> host=<hostname>

Has the output database option been plugged back in?
