Hi

There's not an admin interface to configuring sort. The configuration is
done from editing the conf-files.
However there are several choices when it comes to event handling such as
Base, Snorby, Squert, Sguil etc.

If you never touched Snort before, I would recommend you to take a
look a SecurityOnion
<http://securityonion.blogspot.com>which will get you started in no time.
After getting to know Snort and the processes that could surround it you
can start compiling Snort yourself.
