[PATCH 5/5]: manual: Add documentation for bitmasking (byte_extract, byte_jump), and bitwise OR (byte_test)

The attached patch adds the documentation for the updates to the
byte-frobbing options.  It also corrects a few minor things as well.  I
cannot build the PDF version of the manual at present, so please review
for any errors.
