Problems with snort2.8.6.1

Hi,

We had snort2.8.6.0 working like a charm, 2.8.6.1 is very slow to the degree that we are now getting hundreds of these 
messages:

IpqLoop: : Failed to receive netlink message: No buffer space available

Same configuration, same hardware.

Can you think of any reasons?
