Re: snort not running with mysql

try "which snort" to confirm that the executable is the one you thought.

in the snort source dir, try putting the path on your command:
   "./src/snort -c /etc/snort/snort.conf"

if that fails the same way,

"make distclean", then rerun the "./configure && make && make install"
