I switched to barnyard2 a couple months ago, it works fine and is currently supported, where barnyard is abandonware at the moment. I'd recommend barnyard2 just for that reason. -----Original Message----- From: Markus Lude [mailto:markus.lude () gmx de] Sent: Friday, November 27, 2009 9:20 AM To: snort-users () lists sourceforge net Subject: [Snort-users] unified vs. unified2 Hello, so far I directly output from snort. I'd like to switch to a unified + barnyard setup. What are the pro and cons for unified/barnyard vs unified2/barnyard2? Which one is the recommended one? unified2 seems simpler as there is only one file.
