How do you perform Email Notifications?

Hello snort community,

Could you please tell me what kind of email notification are you
using?
Is it log based or database based?
For now I figured out only how to send email notifications using
swatch. (Linux + alert.fast file). But I'd like to group them and send
the whole bunch with frequency not exceeding once per 5 minutes.
Swatch doesn't seem to perform this functionality.

Another idea is to work with the database, not log files. But I
haven't found any products performing this action.

It's interesting how are you sending email notifications.

I appreciate any advice.
