Problems with libpcap

Hello snort-users, Could anyone help me to build Snort using libpcap from Phil Wood? http://public.lanl.gov/cpw/libpcap-0.9.8.20081128.tar.gz The problem is when I ./configure, make, make install this libpcap I can find libpcap.a in /usr/local/lib But there are no pcap directory and pcap.h file in /usr/local/include If I install libpcap-1.0.0 from source or libpcap-0.9.4 using yum evrything is ok. There are both libpcap.a and pcap.h files in /usr/local As I understood I can't build snort without this pcap. And when I use libpcap 9.4 of 1.0 I'm getting some problems with alerts, so I'd like to build this libpcap-0.9.8 from Phil Help me plz. -- Best regards, Alexander mailto:alex.ontario () gmail com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Come build with us!
