Barnyard2 on FreeBSD

Has anyone successfully compiled barnyard2 on FreeBSD? Configure is
working fine, but I'm getting errors in make that don't make much sense.
Make complains about ro_dst having an incomplete type.

/usr/include/net/route.h:50: error: field 'ro_dst' has incomplete type
/usr/include/net/route.h:136: error: field 'rt_dst' has incomplete type
/usr/include/net/route.h:137: error: field 'rt_gateway' has incomplete type

I'm also getting errors from if.h.

/usr/include/net/if.h:293: error: field 'ifru_addr' has incomplete type
/usr/include/net/if.h:294: error: field 'ifru_dstaddr' has incomplete type
/usr/include/net/if.h:295: error: field 'ifru_broadaddr' has incomplete
type
/usr/include/net/if.h:327: error: field 'ifra_addr' has incomplete type
/usr/include/net/if.h:328: error: field 'ifra_broadaddr' has incomplete
type
/usr/include/net/if.h:329: error: field 'ifra_mask' has incomplete type
/usr/include/net/if.h:427: error: field 'addr' has incomplete type
/usr/include/net/if.h:428: error: field 'dstaddr' has incomplete type

I have the latest route.h an if.h on this system.
