SNMP output plugin for Snort

Hello everyone,
I try to find out about snmp as an output plugin. I found only this
patch for version 2.20:
SnortSnmpMod-2.2.0-01.tgz from:
http://www.cysols.com/contrib/snortsnmp/index.shtml
Also I didn't find any hint of "output trap_snmp" in /etc/snort.conf.
Is SNMP as an output plugin still available for snort at all?
If not, are there any plans to revive the support for it? I would like
to integrate Snort with OpenNMS as this is supposed to work (at least
once it did).
