FATAL ERROR: Failed to initialize dynamic engine

Hello All,
I'm having this error when trying to start snort service:

I'm installing Snort under CentOS 4 felowing the instructions on the 
http://www.snort.org/docs/setup_guides/Snort_Base_Minimal.pdf

Any help ?
