I am glad that everyone is focused on evolving the "barnyard" technology.
I've seen about 5 different projects now that are doing that. It'd be great.
Has anyone tested Jason's solution for this? http://code.google.com/p/snort-unified-perl/source/checkout Joel On Feb 15, 2008, at 2:24 PM, Colin Grady wrote:
Randy,That was going to be my next patch against Barnyard -- unified2 support.Sounds like your idea is more worthwhile if it means something that is actively maintained. I'm not a great C programmer (know enough to be dangerous), but I am also certainly willing to contribute ideas.I look forward to hearing more about your project. I need to get some updates/bug fixes/features finished for BASE first before I can dedicate too much time, our most precious of all resources. Consider this a call for help if anyone so desires.
