High Capacity NIC's.

Hi all,
I'm looking into getting some High Capacity NIC's fo a snort box that will 
need to monitor allot of traffic on a Gig connection.
Does anyone on the list have any experiance with these typs of NIC's, 
suggestions etc.... any info would be a big help.

Also do any of these typs of NIC's use native GNU/Linux-2.6 drivers?
