Snort 2.6 RC2, chroot, and localtime

Hey All! Searched through the archives, but didnt' find anything to help me out with this issue. Snort logs exactly 8 hours behind my timezone. I've copied my /etc/localtime to the chroot environment, but still no go. Anyone have any idea how to fix this? Thanks!
