Change MEMCAP

Hi, could anyone explain me how to change the memory capacity(MEMCAP) that
snort uses? I would like to make it larger.

Also I have read that the libpcap-mmap improves snort's performance and I
would like to use it, how can I do it? What do I have to install or change?
