Frank,

I haven't seen this modified version of Snort by Ken Renard yet. I have
an email in to Chas and Ken Renard to see where I can get a copy, and if
the last copy of Snort he modified for IPv6 support is old or a recent
version of Snort. Let me know if you dig anything up.
