too many alerts?

Hi all,
 
Thanks for all the help you have been giving to me.  I have tons of these alerts in the BASE console:
 
 [input]      [input]     #5-(2-4184)       [snort] (portscan) Open Port       2005-11-10 13:36:14       10.1.14.44     
  64.12.131.60       Raw IP   
 
Try to suppress them but it does not work.  Is there any other way to get rid of these alerts?   (they drives me crazy)
