Suse 9.0 enterp - sensor setup issue.

Folks,

Gotta question: on my suse 9.0 enterp sensor, everytime I setup the software it ignores the snort.conf file two nic's 
one public one private, along other setting needed.  Does anyone know why it doesn't matter if I install the novell 
provided rpms's or that I compile from cvs its still ignorning my required setting as a damon process.
