Re: adding another sensor

I figured it out. I had to create a second mysql account called
snort () otherhost domain com and set its password and permissions.

The reason I couldn't get the command mysql to work was because I had
set a password so I needed ot use mysql -p

hope this helps someone that may run into this issue.

I think I broke my sql user trying to allow access to mysql from a

Will somone please explain how I can setup my snort user to have
access to the snort database from the localhost and from my remote
sensors.

thank you for all your help.
