Officially, bug reports can be submitted to bugs () snort org.
where snort related bugs especially 2.2 and 2.3 version related bugs are discussed.
The Snort Team only supports STABLE (2.3.x now) and development versions (CURRENT and 2.4.x). If issues that exist in 2.2 also exist in 2.3, they will be addressed in 2.3+ branches. On Tue, Apr 19, Paul Halliday wrote:

The above by no means restricts any postings to the mailing lists :) Please remember to CC: bugs () snort org or myself though. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: New Crystal Reports XI.
