Snort Interafecs don't come up on reboot

Hi ALL,
I have build a snort box and the snortd starts
automatically from init.d scripts ,but whenever i
reboot the interfaces don't come back up automatically
,everytime i have to manually up the interfaces
conencted to inside network and outside network to
start snort.
Because of this automatic start of snort also fails.

How could i make the interfaces come up autmatically
on boot so that init.d can run those multiple
instances of snort on all of them coz its failing
since it finds those interfaces down.
