problem with ACID and Barnyard - data but no alerts

I'm trying to get Barnyard to output data into a
remote database for analysis with ACID. I'm also using
Sguil in a seperate DB. Sguil is working fine with
Barnyard. Acid is showing zero alerts, from the same
sensor/data.

Barnyard starts the acid output plugin with no errors,
and it is putting data into acid's DB. I can look at
the database and I see thousands of records in the
data, event, and iphdr tables, but acid shows zero
alerts (all stats are at 0). I've noticed that the
acid_* tables are all empty in the db.

What am I missing here?

Running Barnyard 0.2.0, Snort 2.3RC2, MySQL 4.0.20,
ACID v0.9.6b23 on OpenBSD 3.6.
