If you installed snort 2.3.0 via rpm, simply do the reverse or rpm -i,
which is rpm -e snort, or make uninstall if you have the snort 2.3.0
source...

Hello all, 

I ran the rpm for Snort 2.3.2 from www.snort.org website on the fedora
core 2 , But when i type in snort -V i get the version on as Snort
2.3.0. I deleted snort 2.3.0 manually from all the location i found
using slocate. Kindly advise how do i completely erase traces of Snort
2.3.0. 

Any help in this regard is appreciated.
